Description

Perform custodial, construction, maintenance and repair activities that ensure sustainment
of approximately 1500 acres of park land and recreation areas and the Oakland Township
portion of the Paint Creek Trail.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Two years of experience in parks, facilities, or grounds maintenance or equivalent
preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to read and interpret maps, plans, and technical documents.
Considerable knowledge of methods, techniques, and requirements for the operation and
maintenance of buildings, facilities, grounds, and equipment used in park and recreation
systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Certifications & Licenses
Valid Michigan driver's license with good driving record with the ability to provide own 
transportation as needed.
Ability to obtain and maintain relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR, Commercial
Pesticide Applicator License) within six months of employment.
